> Henri F.M. Marquenie, Chief Executive Officer
Born in the Netherlands, Henri studied Corporate Law in Amsterdam. Next to his doctoral degree in law, he acquired academic degrees on Banking and Stock Broking (Amsterdam), Trust Law (Rotterdam, Netherlands Antilles), and participated in management courses with Hammer (London, Zurich).
Henri has an extensive track record in International Banking. He started his career at the Nederlandsche Bank (DNB). Continuing his career in banking, he was invited by the European Commission in Brussels as ´Expert on Prudential Supervision´ at Directorate General XV.
Subsequently he returned to the Netherlands to become General Counsel of DNB and the personal adviser to its President, Dr Wim Duisenberg, who later became President of the European Central Bank. At his recommendation, Henri was invited to become General Counsel of the Central Bank of the Netherlands Antilles.
From Curaçao his path led to Luxembourg where he became an Executive Director of Cedel Bank and Clearstream (Luxembourg, London, New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Dubai with 2600 client financial institutions).
As of the year 2003 until today Henri holds the seat of CEO of the CAK Group.
